Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) and the Census Bureau are partnering to make Census 2010 a success.
As part of our partnership, we are pleased to announce that there will be testing for census jobs at various BPL locations.
Before you arrive for testing, please follow these instructions:
First, call the toll-free jobs line at 1.866.861.2010. Ask to take the exam at BPL's Central Library.
Visit www.2010censusjobs.gov for more information on jobs including a practice test, details on positions, qualification information, and a list of appropriate identification.
You must bring proper identification establishing identity and employment authorization to the test. Visit the Census 2010 website for a list of approved forms of identification. We also recommend you bring a resume to help you in completing the job application.
Please take note: you will have 30 minutes to complete the test but you must be present before and after the test to complete the application and establish identification and employment authorization. Please arrive 30 to 60 minutes before the test begins and be prepared to stay afterwards.
